I see we are still heavy into the chat on Shirt colour well we have been shopping for pink I have got one each for les,Gordon and mick Only kidding, we'll les keep the trophy nice and polished because you know it's coming back To me. Match Report 21st June 2017

Another great day’s golfing enjoyed by 6 ‘Society’ members and a new guest player namely Peter Wallis who has handed in his first score card. Two more cards from Peter and he will be allocated his handicap.The weather was perfect throughout the game, dry and hot with wall to wall sunshine.

Well done to Iain Sheridan on winning the ‘Bandit’ trophy with a round of 43, his handicap now needs some serious adjustment. John Hunt came in 2nd with 52 and Mick Soars 3rd with 53.

The honour of losing most balls throughout the game goes to Ian Sheridan, Rod Chamberlain and Les Bounds (and he only played 9 holes !).

Pars – John Hunt (6),Iain Sheridan (4), Les Bounds (3), Colin Asmussen (3) Rod Chamberlain (2), Mick Soars (1).

Revised handicaps are as follows :-

  • Colin Assmussen – 22
  • Iain Sheridan – 28
  • Rod Chamberlain – 23.5

All other handicaps remain the same.
